When the work of your employees involves driving a vehicle, you can require them, first when they are recruited and then periodically during the execution of their employment contract, that they produce the original of their valid Driving Licence.
Be aware, however, that you are not allowed to ask your employees how many points are left on their Driving Licence, or to search for this information on your own.
