Resumption medical examination:

Until now, employees on leave from work due to an accident or illness of non-occupational origin had to benefit from a medical examination when they were absent from the company for at least 30 days. For work stoppages that began on or after April 1st, 2022, the resumption medical examination is only necessary after an absence of at least 60 days.

Health protocol:

For more than a year and a half, the «national protocol to ensure the health and safety of employees in companies in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic» has been indicating to employers the preventive measures to be implemented in their company (wearing a mask, physical distancing, teleworking, ventilation of premises...). Given the ebb of the fifth wave of the Covid-19 epidemic, this 25-page protocol was replaced, on March 14, 2022, by a simple 2-page document, the «guide to prevent the risks of Covid-19 contamination» available on the website of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Integration.

Fuel aid:

To limit the sharp increase in fuel prices that affects individuals, but also professionals such as farmers, fishermen, road hauliers or taxis, an exceptional aid of 15-euro cents excluding tax per litre is granted by the State when buying fuel from April 1st until July 31, 2022. This aid concerns everyone and all type types of fuels (except aviation fuels and heating/cooking fuels) namely diesel, non-road diesel (RNG), petrol (SP95, SP98-E5, SP95-E10), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas vehicle (NGV), superethanol E85 and diesel ethanol ED95.

The increased rate of the IR-PME (Income Tax and Small and Medium size companies) scheme is effective:

Thanks to the IR-PME scheme, people who invest in cash in the capital of SMEs or who subscribe to shares in a mutual fund for investment in innovation (FCPI - Fonds Commun de Placement dans l’Innovation) or local investment funds (FIP - Fonds d’Investissement de Proximité) can, within certain limits, benefit from an income tax reduction. Normally set at 18%, the rate of this tax reduction has just been raised to 25% for payments made between March 18, 2022, and December 31, 2022.
