A fixed-term contract must be written down. And, like any employment contract, it includes the hiring date, the employee’s salary, his workplace and, where applicable, the probation period.
Above all, however, it must contain the specific ps required for fixed-term contract concluded for replacing another employee on leave, namely:
- the reason why the fixed-term contract is concluded (i.e., replacing an employee on maternity leave).
- the name and professional qualification of the replaced employee.
- either a specific term (i.e., end date of the contract), or an imprecise term (for example, till the return of the absent employee) and, in this case, the minimum duration of the fixed-term contract.
