When a speeding offence is committed with a company car, the head of the company must reveal the identity of the driver offender to the appropriate authority, unless he proves that the car or the license plate was stolen or any other force majeure event. If you reveal the names of several drivers, the administration is likely to consider that you have breached your reporting obligation and ask you to pay a fine (a flat-rate fine of €675, reduced to €450 in case of payment within 15 days). The courts (the Court of Cassation itself) have already had the opportunity to assert that the head of the company (or the company itself, as the case may be) cannot absolve itself of criminal responsibility by naming two drivers.
