Visale1 Guarantee Extension:

The Visale Guarantee, financed by Action Housing (Action Logement2), is now extended to tenants who are above 30 years old and earn less than € 1,500 per month. This will make it easier for them to find housing in this time of crisis.

Mileage scales:

Like every year, the schedules for the flat-rate assessment of vehicle costs incurred during business trips have been published. The mileage scales applicable in 2021 for the taxation of 2020 income remain the same as last year. However, for electric vehicles, the mileage scales are upgraded.

Work-study contract:

Fearing a decline in work-study contract recruitments in the face of the economic crisis linked to the Covid-19 epidemic, the government had this summer introduced exceptional financial aid for employers hiring young people under an apprenticeship or professionalization contract. These aids are extended until March 31, 2021.

Non-compliance with closure measures:

Operators of businesses receiving customers, such as shops, who do not comply with the closure measures decreed to contain the Covid-19 epidemic are liable to a fine which has just been increased to €1,500 even if they are first-time offenders.
