Factoring

To support corporate cash flow, the government has just put in place an accelerated factoring system. A new scheme that, thanks to the state guarantee provided to these financings, allows companies that use factoring to be paid their bills as soon as the order is confirmed by the customer. The scheme is expected to be in effect until December 31, 2020.

Telephone canvassing

To combat abusive telephone canvassing of individuals, a recent law has banned the practice in certain sectors and strengthened the obligations of professionals to inform consumers.

Payment of taxes

In France, one can now pay his taxes, up to €300 and certain public service bills such as fines or hospital bills (no limit of amount, this time) at the tobacconists, all over France.

Caregiver Leave

The caregiver leave allows an employee to be absent from the company or a self-employed worker to suspend his or her professional activity to support a person with a severe disability or loss of autonomy. From now on, the beneficiary of this leave can receive an allowance amounting to €52.08 per day for a single person or €43.83 for a person living with a partner. The allowance is paid for a maximum of 66 days for the recipient’s entire career.
